About Me
Hi, I am Réka
I was born and raised in Hungary. Already from high school, I travelled around and studied in several different countries since I have always been interested in other cultures and most importantly, what connects us humans beneath our differences.
That is why I ended up embarking on the journey of studying psychology. I have always been very sensitive to group processes and so I became more and more interested in the qualities of teams where creativity and productivity seem to flow freely and teams where there is tension and underlying blockages. Later, this topic became the research topic of my master’s thesis in work and organisational psychology.
Later, when I learnt more about creating safe and fertile spaces where empathetic confrontation and creativity go hand-in-hand, I started focusing on the contribution of the individual in which nonviolent communication and schema therapy were of great support and led me to dive deep into them.
I started focusing on the universal emotional needs that connect people and started noticing the incredibly smart and resourceful ways we are fooling ourselves through language. Following this insight, sharing this knowledge became my mission. During these years, I engaged in several years of dynamic psychotherapy and existential approach which led me to eventually start my personal practice.
But how did I get involved in trainings and workshops?
I lead, organized and created workshops and facilitated group processes already at my university. My passion for teaching only grew further when I started discovering non-formal, experiential and embodied ways of sharing knowledge in international trainings.
I moved to the Netherlands in 2023 to work for a large multinational corporation. I was working with diverse teams for extended periods while organizing mental health and well-being programs, facilitating workshops on different soft-skills and coaching colleagues 1:1 on assertiveness, conflict transformation, stress management and burn-out prevention.
